v0 Challenge
Two weeks, one non-refillable balance, real prizes. Trade on markets you can't trade anywhere else.
How the contest works
A two-week contest on Proof's live engine. Entering costs nothing, and final rank is based on final P&L. The goal is to get these new types of markets into people's hands and see how traders use them.
Exact start date is still being finalized; it'll be within the coming week. Follow @ProofMarkets on X to stay up to date.

- Proof may adjust scores or disqualify participants for suspected cheating, abuse, bugs, market-resolution issues, or gaming the system, at our sole discretion.
- Cash prizes may be subject to KYC, tax, sanctions, jurisdiction, and compliance checks. Mystery boxes require a physical shipping address.
- Founding Trader status has no cash value and does not represent equity, tokens, or any financial entitlement.
- Participants must agree to the full Contest Terms before participating.
The markets you'll trade
Each underlying trades as a perp. Around it sit conditional futures: a green market for the world where the event happens, a red market for the world where it doesn't. The precise oracles will be announced when the contest is live.
How conditional markets work
A conditional future prices what an asset is worth in the specific world where an event occurs, not just the odds it occurs. Prediction markets answer “will this happen?” Conditional futures answer “what is it worth if it does?” One underlying splits into two tradable legs: one that lives if the event happens, one that lives if it doesn't.
At resolution the winning leg converges to the underlying's live price, and that convergence is the P&L. The losing leg reverts. Trade any of these markets, or arb between them.
